COLLABORATIONS WITH LAW SCHOOLS
At LawLearnizo,
we would like to extend our collaboration with your esteemed institution where your students will be benefitted by learning How to Write Research Papers, enhance their Debating and Group Discussion skills, getting in-hand experience in Drafting and Pleadings, in addition to which we aim to provide students with adequate knowledge on how to draft Cover Letters and Resumes. Apart from this we are also coming up with a concept of Summer Schools and Winter Schools, which will be organized probably in the month of June & January, when Law Schools have completed their End-Term Examinations and Students have their Internship Break. We also have our Internship and Placement Cell, where we would be providing Internship and Placements to the law students at places situated all over the Country, by coordinating directly with the Placement cell of the College.
Following an effective endeavor last year, where our Journals, have had more than 5000 students from over 50 graduate schools across India; where we embraced Law Students to develop a habit of writing Research Papers, which we believe is the most integral part of our profession. Regular Mentorship Classes were scheduled for the students so that they can have a practical approach of what they learn in Law Schools.
We also look forward to taking In-House and Online Webinars/Seminars on different topics which will benefit the Students of Law.
Summer School and Online Internship Program has been designed into 2 phases.
The primary stage (Phase-I) will be as summer school, which will initiate from June and will altogether be a work-from-home. The activities will be distributed to the Interns dependent on her/his choice of project and the interview scores. Project leads would survey the advancement consistently through video conferencing. This stage would for the most part include doctrinal exploration and will proceed for a time of 45 Days to 60 Days.
The subsequent stage (Phase-II) of the program would start as winter schools after the completion of the end-semester tests of the graduate schools or by the primary seven day stretch of January, whichever is prior. This stage, essentially, would be home-based, and would include doctrinal and observational review, psycho-legitimate exercises. Those of the understudies who wish to proceed with the internship as Office Mode in the second stage might be allowed to do as such, after consultation with the project leads.
INTERNSHIP PROPOSAL
Below mentioned are the Internship Description-
Duration of Internship at our Flagship Journals-
Internship under our organization would be at our branch endeavor Lex Assisto Media and Publications, where we have Two National and One International Journal with a team of 50+Academicians along with Legal Experts. The Internship under these journals would be basically of Four Weeks or 1 Month, which can be extended upon the performance of the students.
Tasks During the Internship Period
Our Internship Plan is made keeping in mind the qualities a law student must have to become a better lawyer. Internship Tasks comprises of-
Compiling Research Papers- As this is one of the most important aspects in Law, a student is trained on How to Write a Research Papers and How to Avoid Plagiarism while writing a Research Paper? Whereas, the Interns are expected to submit 4 Research Papers during the tenure of 30 days, 5 Research Papers during the tenure of 45 Days and 6 Research Papers during the tenure of 60 Days.
Work on Daily Basis- As a part of Daily Basis Tasks, interns are given different kinds of Research Propositions and Situations where they are trained on How to Research on a given Research Proposition and Draft various kinds of Petitions, Contract, Applications, Notices and etc., as these are something which a Top Tier Law Firms expect that the students must know all these things when they join them as an Intern.
Quiz- During the period of Internship two quizzes are organized on different subjects to train students on time management skills and get them prepared to participate in National/ International Level Quiz Competitions.
Debates- Every Interns are expected to participate in a Debate which is organized by us only for Interns, as we focus to overcome their fear of speaking in cameras and so. Debate is something which every student of law needs to excel, as the habit of speaking is never going to leave them behind. 1 Debate is scheduled for an Internship Period of 30 Days, 2 Debates are scheduled in case of 45 Days Internship and 3 Debates are scheduled in case of 60 Days Internship.
Group Discussions- Similar to that of Debates, Group Discussions are held so that students are taught with the nuances of participating in a Group Discussions as this would help them when they go for higher studies or for job at PSU’s, Giant IT Companies such as Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Virtusa and etc. 1 Group Discussion is scheduled for an Internship Period of 30 Days, 2 Group Discussions are scheduled in case of 45 Days Internship and 3 Group Discussions are scheduled in case of 60 Days Internship.
Training on Client Counselling- During the Internship Period, Interns are given training on Counselling Clients by providing them a factual situation and asking them to provide and draft their opinion on the given facts.
HR Courses- After the induction session, Interns are provided with a List of HR Courses which are absolutely free of cost, out of which they are expected to choose any 4 Courses in case of 1 Month Internship, 5 in case of 45 days Internship, and 6 in case of 60 days Internship and are expected to complete one course every week. These courses are very general courses where a student has to give a maximum of 60 minutes in completing each course.
Presentations- During the last week of the Internship, a student has to choose a Socio-Legal Topic of his/her choice and make a PowerPoint Presentation on the same. Whereas, on the date of presentations we have various eminent personalities from top-tier Law Firms as the guest of honors which also leads to the interaction and networking of our Interns with them.
